It seems that on Jimmy Kimmel’s wedding day, his celebrity friends were intent on giving him the greatest gift of all: pranks.
At least two stars managed to subvert wedding traditions at Jimmy’s wedding to Molly McNearney. According to Us Weekly, “Precious” star Gabourey Sidibe arrived in a full wedding gown and veil, and even took Molly’s place for the walk down the aisle (Molly followed her — she had set the whole thing up).
Later, the couple shared a romantic first dance together — until Howard Stern cut in and danced with the bride instead.
Serves Kimmel right after encouraging his viewers to pull pranks like throwing cold water on a sleeping spouse. I wonder if anyone else pulled any pranks we haven’t heard about yet. I don’t know if Sarah Silverman was at the wedding…
Meanwhile, over in France, Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez also said “I do” in front of 60 guests Saturday at Chateau des Conde in Vallery, according to Us Weekly. Berry and Martinez were married in a civil ceremony earlier in the day, followed by a religious ceremony at the chateau. The day finished off with dinner, dancing and fireworks. “They all partied long into the night,” a source says.
