Kim Kardashian and Kanye West just had a baby. They can be forgiven if they’re not quite ready to pick out flower arrangements too.
A source close to the couple put the rumors that Kanye proposed to rest — but says it may not be long before they’re true. “I can’t imagine them not getting married. That’s in their future!” the source told People.
The source says the Yeezy is just focused on parenthood right now, at which he’s apparently a natural. “Kanye is already an incredibly present father. He’s very relaxed and comfortable,” the source says.
I imagine that Kanye read some parenting manual that said a father should be present and relaxed and he looked up and said out loud, “I will be the most present and relaxed father OF ALL TIME.”
After a week of suspense during which the family refused to announce the name given to Baby Girl Kardashian-West, we finally have an answer. The name of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s baby is North West, according to TMZ, who obtained the birth certificate. Her nickname will be reportedly be Nori.
Earlier this week it was rumored that the baby was named Kaidence Donda, honoring both Kanye’s heritage (his mother, who passed away, was named Donda) and Kim’s (K). Apparently they decided on a fresh start though. A pun name is a tough burden to put on a baby, but on its own North is kind of elegant and cool. Besides, maybe she’ll embrace it and put out a novel called “North.” The cover can be a plane chasing a guy through a cornfield.
